<description>What a fantastic idea, we need to think big to ensure Nairn continues to prosper and adapt for future generations and to continue to be a tourist destination. The success of the annual ‘Book &amp; Arts festival’, ‘Jazz festival’ and one off Film festival demonstrates what can be achieved if the local community is behind such an idea.

The proposed site is located within the historically centre of Nairn, surrounded by numerous listed buildings, Conservation Areas and a major Trunk Road, therefore such an undertaking is by no means easy!

And the journey to achieve this world class venue will be fraught with difficulties, including gaining enough support to get the project off the ground, securing the site, agreeing the design, achieve planning approval, raising the capital to fund the build, overseeing the construction, followed by the longer-term marketing and management in order to ensure the centre is a success story.

However, living and working in Nairn, I for one would love to support such a project and will in fact not only pledge my support in this blog, but will go further and offer my professional services for free to get the project off the ground!!

My area of expertise is working with all the different stakeholders in order to achieve planning approval for developments such as this and I would be happy to met up and discuss the project in more detail.

Please feel free to give me a call on 01667 300230
